It's a signal that they feel calm and in a safe environment. But unfortunately that’s not the only reason. It may be showing that they are scared, or stressed. We want to change that. Can you help us make only happy purrs?

Adoption fees are increasing
On January 1, 2022, Toronto Cat Rescue will be raising adoption fees.
Over the last few years, veterinary bills have increased exponentially. Our current fee structure is well below industry average. The fee has not changed in over a decade to adjust for inflation.
We fight every day of every year to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats. And to do that, we rely on the donations of supporters like you! Every cat in our care is given whatever they need to make sure they are as healthy as possible before adoption. Your gift will help cover spay or neuter surgeries, vaccinations, extensive dental work, bloodwork or emergency surgeries as necessary.
